Vanja Alexandersen (born 1982) is a minor character in The IT Files. A Norwegian junior Europol Liaison Officer (ELO), Vanja is based out of London, working primarily with Scotland Yard, Security Service (MI5), MI6, Interpol and the International Temporal Enforcement Agency. Vanja is partnered with senior ELO Mira Stolar.
Biography[]
Vanja was born in Lillehammer, Norway. After finishing school Vanja, who'd been attracted to the sea, joined the Royal Norwegian Navy. After almost two years as a non-commissioned officer aboard a frigate, primarily handling minor duties, Vanja managed to prove herself enough to become an intelligence officer. In 2005 when Vanja left the Navy she'd reached the rank of Lieutenant. Growing tired of life at sea and finding at the very least her ship to be too occupied by men Vanja joined the Norwegian Police Service. It was after a short year however than Vanja got recruited by Europol, her past in naval intelligence and proficiency in local law enforcement impressing them. Becoming a Liaison Officer Vanja was sent to London where Mira Stolar would become both a mentor and a friend.
