Jayna Jacobs (born 1986) is a minor character in The IT Files. A British citizen also of Thai descent, Jayna is part of the International Temporal Enforcement Agency as a member of the security department, working the night shift at the ITEA HQ.
Biography[]
Jayna was born in Stevenage, UK, the daughter of a British citizen and a Thai immigrant who'd previously worked as a professional contortionist. From a young age Jayna got lessons from her more on flexibility, soon impressing her friends at school by being able to put her legs behind her head. Athletics would end up being Jayna's focus at school, though she also gained an interest in biology and later botany. While she left with a boy when she was sixteen she also soon decided men weren't her interest. After finishing school Jayna's parents found out she was a lesbian and disapproved, so she decided to leave for London in hopes of better acceptance.
Upon arriving in London Jayna got a job cleaning up a fitness center that also hosted various martial arts classes, all of which she got to attend for free as a part of her job. While interested in pursuing a career related to botany Jayna found her growing physical skill was her best way to make real money, so she spent a year fighting in the London underground so she could build up enough of a reputation to get work as a bodyguard. Just as Jayna finally started to get decent-paying bodyguard jobs she was contacted by the International Temporal Enforcement Agency, who were looking for security guards for ITEA HQ. While it turned out the ITEA knew about Jayna's street fighter past they were willing to look past it so long as she never went back, which meant that, at least to start with, she'd be assigned to the night shift. Interested in the money and benefits package, Jayna took the job while looking into perhaps one day getting a biology degree.
