Heidi Jenkins (born 1986), who goes by the stage-name Foxy at work, is a minor character in Tales from the Tuckerverse. Heidi is a stripper and dancer for Eighth Wonder, a stripping company that is owned by Tina Ly that contracts dancers to clients and events.
Biography[]
Heidi was born in Yonkers, New York, an only child of a dish-washer and a sanitation worker. In her youth Heidi became obsessed with organizing social events, which were tea parties and sleepovers at that time. As Heidi grew older she helped organize parties, which got her into trouble her senior year of high school as she helped get alcohol for a party raided by police. While Heidi did avoid blame she carried guilt of the event, and when one person who ended up blamed for the incident threatened he Heidi decided to leave Yonkers entirely upon finishing high school. Heidi would stay briefly in Minneapolis before deciding to head for Los Angeles.
It was at a community college in LA that Heidi met Tina Ly, who was recruiting strippers for Eighth Wonder. Having self-taught herself to strip to be more fun at parties, Heidi signed up. For her stage name Heidi picked Foxy, it being a nickname an old boyfriend had given her. Within a short time of starting to strip Heidi became fast friends with Jalisa Ambrose. Jalisa and Heidi bonded over their fellow status as an outcast in their hometown, one conversation prompting her to reconnect with her parents and learn that she was free to return whenever she wanted. Deciding to stay in Los Angeles, Heidi became closer with Keleena Ortiz and later Denise Ortega, forming a strong circle of friends. Thanks to some financial planning Heidi managed to buy her own apartment, and since then she has resumed her status as a social event planner.
