Derek Grisham (born 1972) is a minor character in The IT Files. Originally a lone shark turned mobster, Derek was recruited to join Ouroboros, taking the name Mr. Fire.

Derek was born in New York, New York, an orphan from Queens. Growing up living a hard life, many children bullying him for not having parents in spite of not knowing any better, Derek became tough and a trouble-maker. Dropping out of high school, Derek worked various jobs that called for violence, including being an underground fighter and a bouncer before working as a loan shark. After a few years working independently a crime family recruited Derek to be muscle, essentially expanding his work to the entire five boroughs and beyond as necessary. In 2007 Derek was doing a job in Los Angeles when his partner was caught with a bloody knife in the car, resulting in them both going to jail for assault.

In early 2009 Derek was broken out of jail by Mr. Void, who recruited him to join Ouroboros as Mr. Fire. Since Derek was considered smart for his work with the mafia, he was assigned the difficult task of abducting Erika Stone. Derek failed but eluded capture, later working with No Name to rescue captured members of Ouroboros all over the globe. Derek was then charged with kidnapping IT agents and managed to capture Megan Gage while holding off Jason Holland and Yelena Nikitin. Later at Waterloo Station Derek was responsible for firing Chrono Flash flares into the crowd but in spite of initial success was eventually stopped by the efforts of Rurik Chekhol. Finally Derek made a last stand with Drake Stilton in New York, keeping the ITEA at bay until Cassandra Flick took him down. Derek is once again in jail, but now on the east coast.
