Anthony Mero (born 1943) is a minor character in The IT Files. Anthony is a successful investment banker, specializing in venture capital.
Biography[]
Anthony was born in New York, New York in the United States. Anthony's family was poor but he didn't want that to limit him so rather than working at the docks with his brothers Anthony studied hard and managed to get into Harvard with some bursaries, working every day of his student life to ensure he could afford to continue. Earning a Master's degree in Business, Anthony entered Wall Street greatly in debt, but quickly came out wealthy and married to the younger Dorothy Mero. Soon after getting married Anthony and Dorothy conceived a daughter, Patricia Mero.
Anthony tried to mentor Patricia but was troubled over the years with how distant she became despite taking some of his advice. Marital problems with Dorothy also arose and Anthony ended up divorcing her and marrying the even younger Marion Mero two years later, once again conceiving a daughter. Evelyn Mero Anthony mentored more carefully, giving her different advice than Patricia, and the pair ended up remaining relatively close even after Evelyn became a model rather than going to school for business.
